Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I have to be a member to use the Club?

A: No. Several services are available to the public including our massage department. We do offer guest passes for day use of the club it is $15 if you visit with a member or $20 if you do not have a member sponsor. You can use the club two times a month as a guest.

Q: Can I bring guests to the Club?

A: Yes. They must register at the Front Desk each time they visit. Guest fees apply.

Q: What discounts do members receive?

A: Members receive special pricing on all Club services, including personal training, private instruction and spa treatments.

Q: Does my membership include access to other clubs?

A: SJAC members also receive reciprocal guest privileges at over 8,500 clubs worldwide through IHRSA, the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association.

Q: Is my membership transferable?

A: Club memberships are not transferable to another individual...

Q: How do I cancel my membership?

A: In order to cancel your membership, the Club requires 30 days’ prior written notice. You must complete and sign a membership resignation form, surrender all membership cards and pay any outstanding account balance. Your resignation will not be effective until 1) the 30-day notice period expires and 2) the Club receives the signed and completed resignation form, all membership cards and required payments. After the effective date of your resignation, you will not be subject to any further dues.

You may pick up a membership resignation form at the front desk or membership sales office. Once you've completed this form, please keep a copy for your records and give the original to us. You can drop it off at the front desk, mail or fax it to us.

Q: Can I temporarily suspend my membership?

A: If you will be away from the Area for two months or more, or are unable to use the Club because of prolonged illness or injury, you may apply for a membership freeze. You must complete a change of membership form. During your freeze period you will be charged $15 a month. If the freeze is due to illness or injury a doctor’s note will waive the $15 fee. You can restart your membership at anytime
